3 Creative Ways to use Radial Filter in Lightroom

I love using the Radial filter in my Lightroom editing workflow. It has so many creative uses when it comes to fine tuning your photographs.

I put this video together to show the three ways I most commonly use it:

  1. Selective Lighting
  2. Creative Vignette
  3. Isolate a Subject

I focus on using the Exposure slider to create unique lighting effects on your photos. But you can consider using other sliders such as Shadow, Clarity, Sharpness to selectively adjust some areas of your images.

Check out the entire video to discover my technique and introduce them in your own workflow.

  1. Good one! I use Radial Filter just in the same way in PhotoWorks software. It’s easier to use than LR and is perfect for beginners.
