This months wallpaper comes from Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. Its called “Calder’s Flamingo” or “Flamingo Sculpture”. I took this image last year in September when I was there on route to a work conference. I used a Gorillapod to capture the image while using a ND filter which was able to make on the people walking around disappear. You can see some ghostly impressions but I think they add a level of interest and give a sense of size. If you read more about how you can use ND Filter check out my other post on Black Glass.
The image was then edited using one of my HDR presets available in the Ultimate HDR Preset Pack. Feel free to check out my free HDR Presets for Lightroom 5.
