With the latest version of Lightroom 5 (standalone or CC) especially since Lightroom Mobile was released, when you update it you may find that your identity plate gets chopped off whether you use Text based or Image based Identity Plate.

The fix is actually quite easy!!
Click on the little white arrow next to your identity plate and select “Change Identity Plate”.

Simply untick the option “Show Status and Activity” and OK. You have your identity plate is back.
