The Louvre at night is a great setting for photos, not that its any different other times of the day. However once the sun goes down the lights come on the place becomes a photographers paradise.
Tourists start to head off and you can get room to plant your tripod around the location to get the photos you want. The photo below, I took by standing on the ledge on one corner that surrounds the fountains.
About the Photo
The photo is processed using Nik/Google HDR Pro 2 which I started to experiment with, just because the interface is much easier to use than some other tools like Photomatix Pro and Photoshop’s HDR Pro.
The result is from three exposure in RAW, that were edited in Lightroom 5 (noise reduction and exposure tuning) then exported to HDR Pro 2 for merging the three exposures. Final image completed in Lightroom and Photoshop.
