It's Official - Most Popular Preset Every since its release back in March, my Punchy HDR Preset for Lightroom (v4) has been the most popular by far. Many people who have downloaded it have emailed me back saying how much they love the preset. The other presets like Instagram Preset, LR5 Light Leak Preset, LR5 Punchy HDR Preset and LR5 Afternoon HDR Preset are more recent (except Instagram preset which is oldest) but it seems that people want to create more HDR like photos these days. I had been watching my Google+ and Pinterest photo streams and found many photos that have a Light Leak effect applied on them. Light leak comes from the old darkroom days when Cameras used film. A roll of 24 or 36 exposure film had to be carefully loaded in your camera, hopefully in a dark location. The Louvre at Night
The Louvre at night is a great setting for photos, not that its any different other times of the day. However once the sun goes down the lights come on the place becomes a photographers paradise. Tourists start to head off and you can get room to plant your tripod around the location to get the photos you want. La Conciergerie – Paris
La Conciergerie in Paris is one of the old Royal Palaces and Prisons which is a hidden gem in the heart of Paris. It is located short walk from Notre Dame and the closest Metro Station is "Cité". I had walked past this location twice in my previous stop overs in Paris without realising that I could go inside it. From the outside it looks amazing and from the inside its even nicer (well the small portion that is accessible to tourists). A Neat trick to get rid of Cage/Fence When shooting animals, birds or any objects that are fenced off or caged off to prevent access, its very annoying that you may not be able to get a clean shot of the subject.
